Why is my steering not working on my Silverado?
Power Steering Fluid level is fine, hard to turn and it’s weak at low rpm/idle situations… but only when the steering was turned a bit. Seems to act up more when making a slow, low idle, left turn. Re: Steering wheel hard to turn right but not left at… Check the power steering fluid level. Left is torque side and probably tightens the belt as right it would loosen the belt a little so check the belt for sloppyness too. Hope this helps, The Raz
