Where is the light on the gear shifter?
You just pull up on the console piece around the shifters and it pops right out. The light is right on the driver side of the gear shifter in a little socket that you turn and pull it out. To get the 4×4 shift knob off I had to stand in the Jeep with my roof off and straddle the console and pull hard and it popped right off. You just pull up on the console piece around the shifters and it pops right out. The light is right on the driver side of the gear shifter in a little socket that you turn and pull it out.
