Why is my key stuck in my 2016 Outback?
I also have a 2016 Outback with the same problem. At first, they said they could not replicate the problem. They said make sure to push the key in. The problem did not occur in their parking lot. It seems that you have to drive the car at higher speeds to cause the problem, but that is not certain. They finally agreed there was a problem.

I am having the same issue with my 2016 Outback. It started about 2 weeks ago. My car is acting like I don’t put it into park, even though it is in park. I can turn the key from “on” to “acc” but not to the lock position.

After a week of going back and forth to the dealer it finally happened when I pulled it in to the service department. They made a case with Subaru and it has led nowhere. The dealer maybe looked at it a handful of times in the 2 weeks it has been there and has test driven it may 3 times.

All of the sudden the remote to my 2009 Subaru Outback stopped working. The car doesn’t respond at all. I mentioned this when I had the car in for service and they tested my remote.
