Why is my dim turn signal not working?
Dim blinker, all lights working and no flickering. Apparently it does need a better ground, but why that one didn’t work for it is beyond me. I’ll just have to dive deeper into it when i have a decent place to work on it. Sounds like your on the right track.

Why do the turn signals quit working when the lights are on?
The reason the turn signals quit working when the lights are on, is that a 12-volt signal is now being sent down the opposite wire, which was acting as a ground before. Once the lights are turned off, everything will work fine again.
