Why does oil level drop in bike?

Due to its direct contact with the moving engine parts the now very hot engine oil came to the radiator, where it gets cooled by coming in contact with relatively colder atmospheric air. The quality of engine oil gets dropped after being utilized over the period of time.

What causes engine oil shortage?

The most common cause of this problem is worn internal engine components. The engine’s valve seals could be leaking oil into the engine. The engine would then burn the oil, causing oil consumption without any external oil leaks. Worn-out piston rings could cause this as well.

What happens if we drive bike without engine oil?

Low engin oil causes wear and tear to your cylinder walls and piston and reduce your mileage as well as life of your engine. Seems like your cylinder or your piston bore has got worn out or in other words got rough. If it’s the cylinder, it has to be rebored and if it’s the piston, it has to be replaced.
