Why does my Toyota Prius not shut off?
We have found that if we hold the power button down it will eventually shut off. When it will not shut off the car sounds as if it is “revving” and is loud. We have two servicemen that work on our car. They can not get an error code. The have tested the 12v battery, tested all grounds, they even had the dash out.
Why are the dash lights not working on my 2005 Prius?
2005 Prius. No dash lights, speedo, won’t shut off. This has been going on for about two years here and there. How it started was that the dash lights all came on and stayed on. How to turn off dash board in 2005 Prius?
Now press and hold the “info” button while turning the headlights on and off 3 times. When the diagnostic screen appears on the console, press the start button without stepping on the brake.
