Why does my Mazda CX-5 radio keep coming on?
If you leave the car like this and shut the door it will NOT eventually shut off… it will drain your battery! Most people work around this by starting and stopping the car again but putting it in park forcefully… some times it takes several tries.
Why does the radio go off when the ignition is off?
The scematics I have show that the instrument panel instruments are sourced from the same point on the ignition (acc/run position) switch but they all go dead when the ignition is in the off position. The radio stays on. Is the radio powered directly off the acc/run terminal of the ignition switch, or is there a relay along the way?

How do you change the battery in a Mazda CX 5?
Replacing the battery in your CX-5 involves removing the terminals. When you reconnect the terminals, your radio presets are likely to be cleared out. Is the sound system on my Mazda3 working?
Didn’t do anything to the car, literally drove to dinner with a working stereo, after dinner no audio from the sound system. Display works, I can pair up blue tooth, apparently it still recognizes my voice (although I don’t get any audio prompts), just no sound output. Any ideas appreciated. hmm, maybe check the connections to the bose amp…
