Why does my Kia Sportage washer not work?
I have a 2012 Sportage SatNav 2.0 AWD Diesel and the windscreen (s) washer pump appears to have failed. When I attempt to wash either the back or the front windscreens no washer fluid is produced, although the wipers go through their automatic set of sweeps.

Wait until next week and watch your washers miraculously start working again. Access to pump is most likely via the offside wheel arch liner if it can’t be seen from above?

Kia motors USA, 2005 kia Sportage lx v6 4wd- [xxx] purchased new in may 05. Vehicle miles 61 at purchase. On 10/27/05 turned on windshield wipers. The passenger side wiper arm made an unusual noise. Wiperarm was flapping and looks like it rotated 360 degrees.

Click to expand… Front reservoir and pipes will be warmed by the engine, and likely more protected from the cold. It wouldn’t be impossible for the rear to be frozen but the front not, even with the same screenwash running to both windows. 99% certain to be frozen at the back.
