Why does my Hyosung GT650R make a buzzing noise?
Symptoms: tachometer reading backwards, headlights blowing when the throttle is turned even a little, a horrifying buzzing noise anytime something electrical was used (brakes/blinkers/so on) and a battery that died when it sit. Solution: New rectifier. This is a known issue on Hyosung motorcycles.
What are the most common problems with Hyosung bikes?
1. Cracked or broken Plug cap 2. Front sprocket nut comes off from the bolt. 3. Engine oil (EO) gets low if one travel long distance. i.e. I will need to top up EO If I travel about 500KM. 4. What’s the top speed of a Hyosung GV 650?
My gv 650 is a 2012 model I’m led to believe these will have a top end speed of about 190kph or 115 to 120 mph mine will not go past 130 kph 80 _85mph no other problems runs fine any answers?

The Hyosung products have a lot of electrical gremlins to them due to poor quality components used and many problems are all around the system computer but the engines are good and don’t give many problems at all.
Can a pod filter be fitted on a GV 650?
No Not fitted a pod filter on the GV 650 however I can’t see why not really. With EFI engines the ECU will have more than enough calibration with in it to install a pod filter because the sensors around the exhaust and intake will tell the computer that more air is coming in and the ECU will adjust the mixture to compensate of that.
