Why does my Honda Accord keep cranking over?
Vehicle is cranking over so its not that starter and far as electric it does start eventually so it’s more like the fuel injectors are dirty or clogged air filter trying to suck air through the dirty filter or partially clogged fuel filter trying to force fuel through the filter. 18 people found this helpful. I have a 2012 Accord V6 that has a long turn over to start or won’t start at all on first try. This only happens after driving the car and letting it sit for about 40 mins up to 4 hours. If the car sits over night (cold start) it cranks right up.
