Why does my Harley Davidson have no power?
Last Friday I shut the motor off with the stop switch and then turned the ignition key off. I re-set the stop switch to On. 1 minute later, I turned the ignition switch to ignition and noticed I had no power to my headlights and instrument lights.
Why is there no power when the key is turned?
When that dead/dying battery was in place, the lights would power on dimly while the key was on, and I would hear a clicking sound while trying to start it, but it would not turn over. The battery was tested and needed to be replaced. Now, with a new battery that has been tested to be good, I don’t get any electrical power when turning the key.
What should I do if there is no power to the ignition?
1) Battery is good. 2) Battery cables and connections are good. 3) Stop or kill switch was taken apart and tested. 4) Circuit breakers for ignition, instruments, lights, accessories, and main breaker were tested for continuity. 5) Continuity of wires from ignition switch to main breaker were tested.
Why does my ATV have no power when I turn the key?

Why does my Harley Davidson run weird after a charge?
The reason its intermittent is the bike will start running weird in other words it would take a charge but if for some reason that charge did not hold for long the bike will start running weird again. So I went and change the battery and I’ve never had the problem since.

your bike will not start because you have no IGNITION power. the ignition power runs the starter relay, coil and ignition module. the power source for lights and ignition are 2 separate switch contacts. your lights come off the keyswitch relay.
