Why did the airbags not deploy in the crash?
OP don’t worry about it, airbags are triggered by a deceleration sensor, if you didn’t slow down above a set rate of speed, they don’t deploy. They aren’t needed as they can cause real injury (break your neck) in the wrong circumstances.
What kind of accident did I have last night?
I was involved in a car accident last night; I was driving my 2011 Toyota Yaris YRS straight through an intersection on a green light and collided with a car (an Audi S5) coming from the opposite direction who ran a red light and tried to turn right across my path.
Can a frontal impact not deploy an airbag?
A lot of frontal impacts won’t deploy airbags. If you had been asking this with an imprint of your steering wheel in your chest and with glass splinters in your forehead, you would be right to question it, as before the days of airbags we would see plenty of windscreens cracked and bits of skin and hair embedded in the glass from the driver !!

Who is at fault in a T Bone accident?
After a traffic accident in which one vehicle “t-bones” another, it’s not always obvious who was at fault for the crash. Side impact collisions — more commonly called “t-bone” traffic accidents — can occur in a number of different traffic situations.
