Why did my car horn change?
But an inoperative car horn can also be caused by a bad horn switch in your steering wheel, a broken “clock spring” under the steering wheel, a bum horn relay, a broken wire, or a corroded ground. Here’s how to check the most likely suspects: Start by checking the fuse. Refer to the owner’s manual for its location.
Why does my car horn honk when I change the battery?
May have to tow it somewhere. I also tired pushing the panic botton on the remote to see if that would silence the horn, no luck. Sounds like your alarm/security system is malfunctioning or, just needs to be reset. Hook up the battery as normal, let it honk then push unlock on your fob.
What do I do if my horn keeps going off?
pretty common as I have seen for any alarm system, OEM or otherwise. connect the battery and press the unlock on your fob.. if you don’t have a fob, then remove the horn fuse or relay as suggested.. I just turn the key to “ON” before I hook the battery up. It disables the alarm. The alarm is from your hood being open.

Why did the Horn go off on my mower?
I pulled it back off and it instantly occured to me he had given me a group 24 when it should have been a group 24F with posts at opposite corners. So I had put the positive lead on the ground post, and then when I touched the ground lead to the other post on the battery (which was actually positive) the horn went off as a warning I assume.

Is there a problem with my alarm horn?
This problem is different from the “alarm horn” problem that I’ve read about. It is just one long solid honk. Not just one small little honk (which is supposed to happen when you reconnect) but a long assed BLOW HONNNNNNK which never stops.
