Where is the PCV valve on a Toyota Camry?
Prior model years had the pcv valve on top where an easy plastics cover allowed an easy change. It’s tucked in behind the intake manifold on the belt end of the engine. It looks like it should come out without too much problem, but things have to be removed to get clearance to get it out.
Are there any issues with the Toyota PCV valve?
Toyota’s don’t seem to have the issues with the PCV valve like other makes. This means it could be completely worn out, or stuck open or closed, and most wouldn’t even know. Mine are installed good and tight by feel. I’d wager there is a torque but never bothered looking up the spec. It’ll usually have a thread sealer.
