Why does my Honda rancher 4×4 not start?
I have an ’05 Rancher 4X4 that will not start. It was not left sitting for a long period of time. But when it would not start, I thought perhaps I had bad fuel. So I disconnected fuel line and drained tank. Flow was good. Put in fresh fuel and replaced spark plug. After a bit of trying, it started for about 2 secs and died.

Proper way is to disassemble the carb and clean thoroughly. Some others can help with instructions/advice on this, im outta breath. Depending on your mechanical skills, you can purchase a carb kit from Honda. I paid $45.00 and it comes with new jets, springs and all the o-rings to rebuild your carb.
