The ABS (not engine) dealer mode connector is in the rear where the normal connector is on other Stroms. Dealer mode is entered by placing a jumper on two of the wires in this plug. The 02-03 DL1000 has a 4 pin plug with only two wires. The 04 & up DL1000 & all DL650 have a 6 pin plug with four wires.
What does ECU code C12 mean when bike wont start?
When the bike will not start the ECU code read c12 “crank positioning sensor fault or Trigger Coil sensor”. Fuel injected models have the crank positioning sensor and carbureted models have the trigger coil. I found a loose connection that was causing the intermittent errors and not letting it start. I repaired it and everything seems good.
