Where is the air filter located on a Triumph Thunderbird?
This airbox is located under the seat and is easy to access. Air flows in through the snout and into the primary airbox (pink arrow), then through the tube and gasket (red arrow) connecting the two airboxes.

Hi All, Is it easy to remove the petrol tank on my Sprint ST 955i (2002) I am about to change the spark plugs ? does anyone have a step by step photo guide ? cheers,Tapper55 (Gary) Not for the Sprint.
Can a 98 Sprint have a tank removed?
Not for the Sprint. But it should be similar to the Tiger (just more plastics to remove on yours I think) I did a total engine out rebuild on a 98 Sprint and it seems the process was very similar to this as I recall. I’ve got a manual at the house I can check for tank removal.
