Where does the wind noise come from in a Nissan?
What I mean is, you’re talking about wind noise, and noise from the floor in the rear cargo area – two very different noises so I’d recommend dealing with one specific thing at a time. The noise which I originally thought was coming from the roof rack main rails was actually coming from the door seals near the side mirrors.

Doug has it right on what all it can be, but I will add a few things. First go to either side of the car with the hood up, and push the front end up, and down. While you’re doing this take a look at the nut that holds the strut to the strut mount on top of the fender.
