Where does the hot air come from on a Silverado Sierra?
I really don’t care about having air I just don’t enjoy burning up so summer because I can’t stop the scorching hot air coming out into the drivers side while the passenger side gets full AC Passenger side under the hood is the 2 hoses running back to firewall.

Where is the hot air vent on a GMC Truck?
It’s underneath the passenger dash, where your feet go. Take off that black kick panel thing, and it will be right there. The passenger side does whatever the HVAC panel tells it to, but yes, when both sides are set to cold, the driver’s side is HOT, the passenger’s side is COLD. Anyone have a write up on this ?

My problem is that my truck blows hot air on the driver’s side. I’ve replaced the actuator and nothing happened. I even took the old actuator and put in a good spot and it worked so today I finally bit the bullet and took it to the dealer. They followed the same steps…said it was the actuator and replaced it.

My 95 GMC Serrea AC will not blow cold air. The pressure is right in the system. The compressor run right. The air does get colder when running at freeway speeds but warms up at lower speeds. Similar problem in GMC Sierra was solved by replacing the A/C control module in the dash.
