When did I buy a new Kia Rio?
Bought a new KIA Rio bought in September 2020 and the engine is pinging. I have read how others have the same problem and KIA won’t or can’t do anything about it, so it could be a factory problem. What’s the problem with the Kia Rio engine?
One thing gets replaced, then something else goes wrong. Engine runs quite warm but that is to be expected from the little space under the bonnet. This is one of the worst cars to do any sort of mechanical work on, nothing on this car is simple & easy to fix. Replacing the alternator was horrible, not looking forward to doing it again.
