How do you check the Trans temp on a car?
You can check this by letting the vehicle warm up to normal operating temperature, then open the hood and remove the transmission dipstick and wipe it clean with a paper towel or shop rag. Then reinsert it and remove it again, holding it horizontal look at the end of the dipstick.
