What should the neutral reading be on a Land Rover?
Read 1.44 to 1.48 in low,3.2 in neutral and 4.5 in high is this OK. had potentiometer off the motor today to clean it but could not see how to. Overdrive!

How do you change the base idle speed on a Range Rover?
Switch the ignition on – DO NOT START THE VEHICLE. Disconnect the stepper motor plug. Start the vehicle in neutral without touching the accelerator. Adjust the base idle speed with a 3/16″ Hex wrench to 550 to 650 RPM by turning the base idle screw. Turning counter clockwise will raise the speed and vice versa. Reconnect stepper motor plug.
