I have a 2004 Sportsman 500 HO and yesterday the instrument cluster including AWD and high beam light quit working. Low beam lights, fan and winch work fine and atv starts with no problem. Any help would be appreciated…
Why does my speedometer stop working on my Polaris Sportsman?
I have a 2006 Polaris sportsman 800 and my speedometer and cluster stop working which include the AWD. All my lights and everything else works perfectly and I checked for cut wires, bad grounds but no luck.

Check battery and selenoid connections, take cables off of selenoid and check nuts under them for tightness. Always check the kill switch first. It is easy to bump it over, and hard to think about checking it first. We’ve all done it. It totally kills ALL power to every system.

Simply put a splice wire between the brown wire at the high beam connector (just shove a bared end of a splice wire into the back of the connector) and to ground and you will be amazed, everything will work. Then just tie in a section of wire from the headlight connector to ground, and it will be fixed.
