Where can I buy a 2003 Nissan Almera?
Am the 2nd owner of a 2003 Nissan Almera here in Kampala Uganda. I recently clashed it blaming it on my poor misted headlights. I contacted my local Nissan dealer who wants USD 1200. The same headlights can be got on ebay at USD 150.

I assume that the recall applies to models from 2003 onwards, when the facelift introduced the currently-trendy projector-style headlights, but I didn’t ask. Just had a customer into our garage with poor complaining head light where very poor a night.
How do you replace a headlight bulb on an Almera?
Around the back of the headlight there should be a round rubber plug where the bulb is. remove this, then unclip the metal clip – dont force it, it should just spring off easily, then take out the bulb and unscrew it – should be a ‘bayonet’ fitting. Screw in the new bulb and test, then re-assemble! Hope you get it now!
Is there a recall on the Almera headlights?
I read online that there has been a recall on Almera headlights a while back but this has lapsed. So went back to garage owner and he agreed to replace just one headlight, as he seems to think just one is at fault (which we don’t understand). Can anyone help or give any advice as to what would be best to do?

Is the lifter motor on my Almera working?
Lights seem to be aligned ok, and lifter motor seems to work fine which were taken from the original Nissan units – although they were not very easy to remove. took me while to work out how to get them out without destroying them.
