What kind of car has radio randomly turning off?
I own a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT2 Gen 1 / 1.4 Turbo with 30,000 Miles. Never been in accident and always treated well. Im having an issue with the radio randomly shutting off and turning back on, the music stops and the screen goes blank.
When does the radio turn off on its own?
She generally leaves it switched on so it comes on when she starts the car. There is no set time period for when it turns itself off, it can go for 5 minutes or 50 minutes before it happens. Certainly check the wiring, could be a loose wire in the block connector. Certainly sounds like an intermittent ignition live feed to me.
Where is the radio on a 2014 Elantra?
If it comes and goes then it is back from the radio to the fuse block. Here’s a link for the radio wiring connections for a 2014 Elantra which hopefully will be of some help. (again apologies, there’s not much available that I could find for 2015 models).
How do you turn off the HD Radio on a Hyundai?

What kind of car does the radio go up and down by itself?
We have a 2007 Mitsubishi Pajero (not sure the current equivalent in US, it used to be the Montero but I think they have since discontinued it). It’s a great car. One rather annoying issue we are having with it at the moment… The radio changes volume by itself. It goes up, it goes down, all on it’s own without any input from us.

Why does my Honda radio change volume by itself?
Hondas have it as well, you just need to read the manual on how to shut it off. ok4450 July 6, 2016, 2:36am #4 Just throwing something out there but if this car is not equipped with a speed compensated volume control it’s also quite possible the problem could be a faulty radio head; manual potentiometer or not.
