Check out Fueling 525s put them in my 05 RK and wifes 06 softail. Pulls good from 2k upto 5700 rpms. Made mountain riding much better.
Are there geared cams on a Harley Davidson 103?
Just read an article in Hot Bike, about the 103, they recommend a couple of things if you want to get more gitty up, cams were high on the list. They also pointed out if you can to have geared cams installed, alot depends on “run out” which I am not familiar with.

What does the slash mark on a cam gear mean?
Its matching pinion gear has teeth across the full width of the pinion gear body. The matching breather gear has a “slash mark” (l) to identify its timing position. The late 1977 through 1984 (non-Evolution®) engines used a cam gear with a “curved tooth”. This gear is identified by a “groove” cut into the face of the gear.
What kind of noise does a big twin camshaft make?
If the gears are not matched prop- erly, you may witness some gear noise. If the gears are too loose, you will hear a “gear clat- ter” (much like a lifter noise), if the gears are too tight, you will hear a gear “whine”. When the gears are properly fitted, you will hear a very slight gear whine when the engine is hot.
