Yesterday when I went down, the bank angle sensor shut the engine off. I had read my service manual and knew that all I had to do was turn the switch off, back on and the engine fired.

Click to expand… There is not a quick fix to eliminate the bank angle. It supplies a signal and would require something to take its place. It has been suggested in the past that a simple resister might work, but that is only if the signal goes to ground when the bike is running.

IMO, you have 3 options. 1. Ride it until it won’t run anymore, then find the problem. 2. Start randomly swapping parts in hopes that it goes away. BAS first. 3. Start troubleshooting all the wiring and connectors in hopes of finding a bad or loose connection. Gotta love it.
