The Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) system is fitted to many Mercedes-Benz vehicles ranging from 2001-2011. A piston pump driven by an electric motor supplies a controlled brake fluid pressure between 140 and 180 Bar in the gas diaphragm reservoir (Accumulator).

ABS Control Unit. This may not be applicable to vehicles with Code 213. The electronic brake service tool (EP21RENT) is required to deactivate the brake system before replacement of the SBC hydraulic unit.
