What happens when I jump start my Honda Accord?
When I get a jump start, it starts instantly. If i stop the engine immediately and then try restarting, it starts correctly, as if everything is okey. One more observation, the jump start resets the clock/ radio of the car. After couple of days the radio goes blank.

6 people found this helpful. My 2005 Accord has the same issues I’ve installed a new fuel pump, injectors, coils and bothvrelays the one for the pump and the one for the fuel injection . I spoke to a specialist and was told that It’s my starter . wich is common on Hondas .

How can you tell if a fuse has blown on a Honda Accord?
Determine from the chart and, or the diagram on the fuse box lid, which fuse or fuses control that component. Check those fuses first, but check all the fuses before deciding that a blown fuse is not the cause. Replace any blown fuses and check the component’s operation. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
