What does service electric brake system mean on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

So I just swapped out my wheel hub assembly on the drivers side and it’s still doing exactly the same problem, weird grinding sound, service electric brake system, TC and abs lights come on. You’re saying the grinding is the abs kicking in?

Runs and idles strong now. My Jeep is a 2005 Jeep WK 5.7 Completely stock. Forgot to mention that this occurred after I had to drive a short distance on a full size spare tire that was slightly different than the others. the grinding sound is the abs activating. Just do some preventative checking of brake fluid etc.

I spoke to a mechanic about it, who owns a Jeep and says that it’s common for Jeeps to throw this code when you have erratic braking or brake hard but it wasn’t an issue if it didn’t stay on and wasn’t throwing any codes.
