What do you do if your security light keeps flasing?
Reset the keys also by holding both buttons for 4 seconds till the internal led ( microscopic hole in the fob) flashes and resets – do it with a key in the ignition and drivers door open. The car and key looking light are immoblizer or security system warning.

Why does my security light keep coming on?
Could be a pinched wire or one that the insulation is worn off. May just be you got some moisture in the housing and the bulb base rusted. Just need to start at one end of that circuit and work back. At least I know what circuit to look at. Shorts can be a b*#@& to find sometimes.
