I put the battery on a charger, had my guys at GY check her out and clear the code and no more issues. I have a dead amp that was pulling power through the remote wire which is why my battery was being drained.

AS far as the engine light being on, just get it reset and see if that fixes the problem. That or pull the code out of it and see what it is. If you disconnect the battery from the car, leave it for a couple of hours, i believe the engine light should reset itself.
