Is there a NOx cel light on a GLK 250?
Once again within 5,000 miles I have experienced the NOx CEL light. Dealer recommended Shell and BP Diesel only – I did that. Now the dealer recommends only MB OEM Blue DEF rationalizing that the rear sensor was contaminated by the “Peak” Brand Aftermarket Blue DEF. Sounds Like a brush-off. Any other takers?

These codes indicate that the NOx sensor A (for U029D) or B (U029E) is not communicating with the other control modules in your Mercedes. The most common reason for failure is a circuit fault. If you experience this issue, you should get it checked out as soon as possible, as the PCM will no longer be able to check emission levels.

Agreed on the bullsh^% of only using mbdef, both my e350 blue tech and my partners glk250 blue tech had the CEL for ad blue problem. It’s a sensor fault not fluid. NOx CEL – FINALLY FIXED!

I bought the 2014 GLK250 used and the dealer repair history showed there was a repair for the NOx sensors. After reading this thread, I assumed the issue was fixed according to Mercedes Warranty repair. The odometer was around 10,000mi.
