Is the parking brake on a Renault Grand Scenic?
Electric parking brake has to be the silliest and most uncalled for toy of the last 7 or so years, i suspect it will prove to be one of the top three reasons for scrapping of cars so fitted under 10 years old.
What is the problem with my Renault Megane?
A mobile auto electrician is coming out Monday and he hopefully can work his magic. Just a quick update. Auto electrician found the problem was with the fuse control unit under the engine bay. The problem seemed to be around the 5 amp “Inject” fuse area.

Thanks for the reply so what you are saying is the normal wind back tool is not used it is done via the renault clip software to wind the calipers back, as the garage told me they tried winding them back but they would not move I wonder if they were not doing it properly

If the parking brake works and the message dissapears when engaging clutch. IT IS NOT THE PARKING BRAKE that has the fault. I have similar car – Grand Scenic 2007 1,5 with the same issue which I fixed today.
