How much does a 1998 Honda Shadow ACE Tourer cost?
I looked at ST1100’s, Concours, a BMW, and a bunch of cruisers. I ended up buying a ’98 Honda Shadow ACE Tourer (VT1100T) for $4500 about a week ago. I was extrememly concerned about the 626 dry weight (I weigh 145lbs), and having enough power to move 2 riders and gear.
When did the Ace 1100 tourer come out?
The ACE Tourer used the same motor used on the Saber and Spirit while the ACE 1100 and the Aero 1100 were the single pin models. They were made from 1998-2001. The T is a great riding bike with the hard bags, windshield, dual bagger exhaust and a very comfortable riding position. The bags hold alot and the windshield is very effective.
Is the Honda Ace 1100 a single pin motor?
The 1100 Aero is the single pin (more engine vibs) motor. It is longer by about an inch and a half. Alot of aftermarket parts will only fit the Aero but not the ACEs. They are different animals.
