Is the Mercedes-Benz E430 a good car?
Plenty of power when you need it and a very similar gas mileage, especially on the highway. The E430’s also tend to come with more options standard and that is a nice bonus. Couple that with the fact that they don’t really cost much more and it was a no-brainer for me.

1. a 220bhp E320 wagon does not haul ass. It may feel like it hauls ass coming from a 75bhp geo metro, but it doesn’t. It is not a quick car. The 430 is not exactly a quick car either. Either will get its ass handed to it by a newish honda accord.
