Is the driver side window on a Nissan Titan slow?
Hello i just wanted to chime in on the slow windows and working good when it’s hot outside!! There is a YouTube video of guy wit a 2004 Titan wit slow window and he takes the window motor apart and cleans the gears inside the motor and it speeds the windows back up and works when it’s cold outside!
Why does my Nissan Titan not roll up?
Had 2 different dealerships test it. Both gave song and dance responses. Ultimately, the both concurred, the motor was defective. Two years ago the problem started evolving with the Left Front (drivers side) window. I still haven’t fixed it. When its warm outside, it works. When its cold outside, it wont work.
What happens when the Nissan power window is closed?
The limit switch is closed, pulling the 5-volt reference to ground when the limit switch is not being depressed. The limit switch should not be depressed when the power window is open (in any position except fully closed). When the power window is fully closed, the limit switch should be depressed.
When does the power window switch turn off?
When the power window switch sees the 5 volts return on the limit switch signal wire, the power window switch knows the window is fully closed and stops power window motor operation.

What to do if your Nissan power window is not working?
Nissan has issued a service bulletin to address Nissan power window problems where the power windows may not work properly after the vehicle’s battery has been disconnected or a window fuse blows. Do NOT replace the window regulator or window controller. The Nissan power window problems can be corrected by performing a re-initialization process.

Driver side window will not roll up…help. My front, driver side window has all of a sudden stopped working, in the down position. I need to get it up and it is the weekend. I am moderately knowledgeable on some things mechanicaly. I am not sure if it is the window motor or the power window switch. I am guessing the switch…just because.

Take the door Panel off, get a long screw driver and hammer, give the motor a couple love taps and it should roll back up. I’ve had to do this a couple times to my passenger window.
