The Mauch Chunk Lake Park charges a daily admission to the beach and picnic areas Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Children 3 and under, those with disabilities, and individuals 65 and older receive free admission. Season passes are also available at the park office.

Is Mauch Chunk Lake man made?
The Mauch Chunk Lake was originally built by a dam designed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in early 1972. Before this manmade lake was opened, the water that ran from the natural springs fed atop the Mauch Chunk Mountain was cause for alarm for the Mauch Chunk Creek.
