How to start a GMc canyon?

Remote Vehicle Start✦ Press and release the Lock button and then press and hold the button until the turn signal lamps flash to start the engine from outside the vehicle. After entering the vehicle, turn on the ignition. During a remote start, the engine will run for 15 minutes.

Why does my GMC Canyon not start up?

Why does my Chevy Colorado have no start?

Thinking that the starter has a dead spot in it. It will go days to weeks with out the problem but when I’m in a hurry to get somewhere fast it does it. Gonna try the tap test on it next time to verify the dead space. If anyone else has advice it appreciate it. thank you.

3) Replaced the RUN/CRANK relay. 4) Replaced the STARTER relay (that’s the one that did it, but the other stuff is good to check out too). Hopefully this helps somebody else in the future. Thanks. Those are all the things I’d suggest when a person has a no crank status.

I will be in touch! same issue with my ’08 Colorado. cleaned battery terminals and ground. no fix. replaced the relays. no fix. battery was replaced as well as testing showed it wouldn’t hold a charge. still had the same issue. Took it to the service department and found that the ignition switch was the culprit.

With the door open, put your key in the ignition and let the chime ring a few times. Then turn the key on (don’t try to start it) and let the chime ring again. Watch your dash lights – when the chime stops, part of your dash lights will go off.

Filed complaint months ago, Gm corp says it is not under warranty and what to start swapping part at a few hundred dollars a poop and will not guarantee it will fix issue, Was told I will get the ‘discounted’ price in writting, but have yet to get anything for a few weeks now. 15 people found this helpful.
