Having said that Matt, as I already suggested, when its hot out I run right at the middle hash mark, when its cool I run just mm or 2 below, with a known fully functional fan. It has done this for the 1.5 years I have had it, first noticed while I was towing and it freaked me out for a second but it has NEVER gone above the 1/2 hash mark.
