When does fault automatic headlight control not work?
When I drive the car at night, only once but not immediately I get a small message in the drivers dash that says “Fault Automatic Headlight Control”. This disappears after a few seconds and I do not see the warning again until I restart the car, the headlights are working fine on auto despite the message. The CH/LH function does not work at all?

Is there a fault in auto headlight control?
The actual headlights for driving seemed to work in auto without problem and I never saw an “auto headlight control fault” message appear on the dash. This morning I ran a system scan and for the first time it appeared to show a Rain / Light sensor fault, which I have cleared for now.
