I agree with pnoman, these timing chains should last a very long time. If Kia wanted it replaced at 90,000 or more miles, they would call for that. They don’t. Best of luck. I have a 2014 Kia Soul Plus that I bought 18 months ago and have put 92K miles on so far.

Timing chains do not need to be replaced unless stretched beyond what the tensioners can adjust for (very highly unlikely!) or if the tensioners break and cause the entire valve-drive assembly to train wreck (more likely, but probably about even with your chances of being struck by lightning).
