I was just quoted £1400 to replace the flywheel (£250) on a MCS by BMW – same amount of work to change a clutch apparently. That would be great. I have found the OEM valeo clutch used in the MINI for £100 delivered so i am going to go for that and hopefully i wont regret it!!! eeeekk Would you say its worth doing the flywheel at the same time?

Why is my Clutch not working on my Mini Cooper?
If the engine revs up without a corresponding increase in vehicle speed, clutch mechanical components are at fault.
