How fast is a CB 125?
Top speed with a single rider is approximately 100 km/h (62 mph). Although good for city commuting, the bike lacks power and speed to keep up with free-way speeds in Australia.
Is a Honda CBF 125 reliable?
Overall very reliable mechanically but build quality is to be expected for such a cheap bike. Basic service is cheap and easy even for a beginner, however Honda suggest the valve clearances are checked every 2,500 miles which takes a bit more skill and cost £55 last time I had a mechanic do it.
Can I carry pillion on 125?

How often do I need to tighten my motorcycle chain?
Too tight is as bad as too loose, but it’ll only take minutes to get it right. You should check and adjust your chain every 500 miles (805 km), and more often for a dirt bike. It’s also a great time to look for kinks or rust, and to give your chain a quick cleaning and lubrication, too.
Do I need L plates on a 125?
You don’t need L-plates. You are restricted to 28mph. If you haven’t ridden before, we would strongly suggest that you still take a basic rider training course (Compulsory Basic Training – CBT). After you have obtained your CBT certificate, you will be entitled to ride any motorcycle or scooter up to 125cc.
How much is a full motorbike Licence UK?

Why is the Honda CBF125 such a popular bike?
There is a reason the CBF125 has been such a huge seller for Honda – it carries a known name on its tank, delivers in terms of frugal motoring and is exceptionally reliable. Is the exhaust pipe on a Honda CB125F rusted?
Although when new the little CB125F retains the usual Honda build quality, with everything feeling well put together, and nothing standing out as being overly cheap, more than a few owners report that the black-painted exhaust pipe is very susceptible to corrosion and rust, as are most of the chromed parts.
Is the Honda CB125 similar to the Yamaha ys125?
None of that, however, is unique to the CB. Yamaha’s YS125, introduced in 2017 as a successor to the YBR125, is a very similar proposition and offers similar performance, handling and value, although there’s not quite as many available on the used market and nor can it quite match the frugal Honda’s economy.
What is the range of a Honda CBF?
Honda claimed a tank range of ‘over 370 miles’ and economy figures that would touch 145mpg could be achieved with the CBF, which is simply staggering. The reality is closer to 110mpg and a range of just over 300 miles from the 13-litre tank, which is still pretty good.
