Are there any problems with the Honda Rubicon 500?
No help and yes I did preload. The symptoms are now that it often does not reset. Sometimes gets stuck in one gear and you stay there until it wants to change. But then…. it might do perfect for days, trans changing perfectly.
Why does my Honda Rubicon 500 go into limp mode?
This 4wheeler has been giving issue for 10 years. It would constantly go into limp mode. I would reset it. And go on. Over the years I have changed 3 angle sensors. Did this because of the code given. No help and yes I did preload. The symptoms are now that it often does not reset.
How can I get the Honda Rubicon to shift?
Put a good battery in it (just borrow from another bike) and you can get the code by doing the following. Push and hold both the up and down shift button simultaniously. While doing this, turn the ignition on and immediately release both shift buttons. The press both shift buttons again for about 2 seconds.
