How long does it take to charge a Mazda 3 battery?
The Mazda service instructions specify to remove the battery and charge with a constant current of 10 to 15 A for a specified time (e.g. 4.5hrs for a specific gravity of 1.2). I have a CTEK CT5 Start/Stop charger. I assume this is safe to use on the Mazda 3 with the Q85 battery in situ.
Why does my Mazda 3 not jump start?

The hatch has an electronically controlled mechanical lever. It’s kind of annoying at first but you get used to it. If you didn’t close it hard enough, you have to push the button anyway, open the hatch, listen for the latch sound to reset for locking, then try again. Can a Mazda 3 FOB be programmed into a car?
Each fob has a unique ID, the car learns the ID of the FOB. You program the car, not the fob; but yes any Mazda 3 compatible fob (same signal, same frequency) can be programmed and should work immediately after programming. (I had a fob from my ’04 left over that I programmed onto my ’08)
