How does the ECM work on a GMC Acadia?
This allows optimal catalyst efficiency under light load conditions at a steady cruise. The engine control module (ECM) constantly monitors how lean or rich the fuel trim bias is commanded, to determine if the fuel trim bias is greater than a calibrated amount. Click to expand…
Are there any problems with the GMC Acadia battery?
Battery tests good, no bad cells etc, connections tight, charging system tests fine, no lights, doors staying on or anything visible. A parasitic draw test doesn’t show anything and that what’s frustrating me.
What does fuel trim bias do on a GMC Acadia?
I believe Rt 50 is haunted or something. Fuel trim bias is used to keep the post catalyst air/fuel ratio within a predetermined range. This allows optimal catalyst efficiency under light load conditions at a steady cruise.
How long does it take to Change headlight bulb on GMC Acadia?
A parasitic draw test doesn’t show anything and that what’s frustrating me. A draw intense enough to kill the battery should show up, but disconnect the negative cable, hook my Fluke ET955 DVOM in series and 30-35 mA. Normal. Takes me 10 min to change the headlight bulb…
How do you clear a GMC fault code?
Once you locate the battery, the method for clearing the code is the same, regardless of the year, make or model of GMC vehicle. Fault codes can be set off in a vehicle for a variety of reasons, ranging from a loose gas cap to a major mechanical problem. Turn off the vehicle. Pop the hood by pulling on the hood release under the dashboard.
