The alarm on my Honda CRV keeps going off whenever I try to lock the car. It started after my battery went flat yesterday (left lights on) and breakdown came and jump started. I drove for around 1/2 hr to recharge battery, went home and tried to lock car in usual way with key fob. Alarm sounded. Everything I have tried has had no effect.

I can’t see where the sensors are on the boot or bonnet but the door ones push in and out freely. The central locking definately works, the car is locked up and the interior light comes on when I press the fob. Anything else to check?

Why does my Honda door lock but no alarm?
Yes… checked that all five doors were closed… opened and slammed down the front hood and still the same problem. The doors lock but there’s no confirmation, therefore not sure if the alarm is activated or not. Why not just take it to the dealer. It is still under warrenty isn’t it. Many problems can cause it.
