How do you get the key out of a Jeep?
There’s a button behind the key that you need to push in to pull the key out. Right before it turns back to the accessory position, push the little button in and pull the key out.
Why is there no key in my Jeep?
Right after we closed the doors they ignition viewer said “NO KEY IN VEHICLE” and disabled the Jeep. Sure enough nothing would work, couldnt unlock the doors from inside, couldnt unlock with remote or even lock with remote. Where is the ignition switch on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Insert the ignition key into the key cylinder. Rotate the slot in the ignition switch to the “ON” position. The slot is located on the back of the ignition switch. Position the slot so it is just beyond a 90-degree angle. Attach the two electrical connections to the back of the ignition switch.
