Software update options:
- Select SETTINGS from the Home screen.
- Select SYSTEM tab.
- Select Music Database Update.
- Select OS Version, Gracenote Version, Search for Software Updates or Cancel Update.
- To confirm update or reinstallation select Yes; select No to return to previous screen.

Patrick and fellow Mazda Infotainment sufferers – I took my 2016 Mazda CX-5 in last Friday. When they looked at my system, they saw it already had the latest patch – 59. When they checked my navigation chip, they found additional lines of spurious code.

My wife has a 2016 CX-3 Grand Touring and the infotainment constantly reboots, between 2 and 8 times, but only on cold mornings. 2 weeks ago we went to the dealer to report it and they did a hard reset and updated the OS to the latest version. That helped for 2 days, then the issue came back.
